Privacy at the Parrot.

The email flock.

If you explicitly sign up, we store your email, consent time and wording version in Cloudflare D1 to send Drunken Parrot events and bar news through Cloudflare Email Service. The bar list is separate from The Back Perch list. New signups receive a welcome email. Every announcement includes an unsubscribe link. We keep your subscription until you unsubscribe; a minimal suppression record remains so future announcements skip you. The crew can see subscription and delivery status. Replies go to Ryan.

Website visits.

We count homepage views by day in Eastern time. These are views, not unique people. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or browsing profiles. We respect Do Not Track and filter known bots. Aggregate counts are kept for up to a year and cleaned as the site receives visits.

Storage and security.

The website runs on Cloudflare. Abuse protection uses temporary counters keyed by hashed network identifiers; Cloudflare also processes requests under its own privacy practices. The crew entrance uses a secure session cookie that expires after eight hours.

Team accounts

The private team area stores invited users’ names, email addresses, roles, sign-in sessions, and account-security activity. One-time email codes expire after 10 minutes and are stored as protected hashes. Passkey public keys and identifiers are stored so we can verify sign-ins; your device keeps the private key and biometric data. Team membership does not subscribe you to the public bar-news email list. Admins can disable accounts and revoke access.
